What is your best negotiating trick?
My best negotiating trick is to always be prepared. Know what you want, know what the other person wants, and come to the table with a realistic plan of how you can both benefit from the negotiation.
It’s also important to be willing to walk away if the deal doesn’t feel fair. Remember, you don’t need this deal – there are plenty of other deals out there. But if you can find a way to make everyone happy, that’s always the best outcome.
