  • What exactly can cause the Bitcoin crash?

Posted by Christian on June 13, 2022 at 4:04 pm

There are many potential causes of a Bitcoin crash. Most common include regulatory uncertainty, security breaches, and large-scale sell-offs.

Another potential cause of a Bitcoin crash is when entrepreneurs stop developing new applications and products that use the Bitcoin blockchain. In other words, if there’s no innovation in the space, then the value of Bitcoin could decline as people lose interest.

Price manipulation could happen if someone tries to artificially lower the price of bitcoins by selling them in large quantities. This could cause other people to sell their bitcoins as well, which would then further decrease the price.

Regulatory uncertainty, security hiccups, and sell-offs are familiar suspects.

I find it intriguing that lack of innovation could be a contributor – makes sense, right?
