  • Should your boss get the credit for something you did exceptionally well?

    It depends. If your boss delegated the task to you and you did a great job, then it’s appropriate for your boss to get the credit. On the other hand, if your boss didn’t have anything to do with it and you did an exceptional job, then you should get the credit.

    In general, it’s a good idea to give credit where credit is due. However, there are times when it’s not appropriate to give credit to your boss or when it’s not possible to do so. If this is the case, then be sure to let your boss know what you achieved and why you’re proud of what you did. This will help build trust and cooperation between you and your boss.
