Nala Raya is living proof of this saying too, as she managed to entirely change her story despite growing up under the strict supervision of her father and the whole church community.

Nala’s story began a couple of years back (2007) when her father bought a church in Illinois and she had to move into the area alongside her sisters and brothers. This was not a pleasant scenario for Nala because she complained of being watched by the whole church community and therefore had limited choices concerning her dressing and mannerism.

According to Mirror.uk, Nala who is now 23 years old commented that “My upbringing was very strict. I was the middle child of five kids. We were all homeschooled, read the Bible daily, and attended baptist church every Sunday.”

Nala would sneak out with boys at night when she was 16 years old, and one time she was caught in the act, her mother had called the police to scare her, but they merely checked out if she was fine and left. She later started working at a Mall, serving as a waitress and this was where she began to get the “Idea”.

She was fond of watching in admiration as couples come around the mall, flirting with each other. She also used to flirt with customers for tips and was intrigued by the attention she could get when she made her dress skimpy. Some years later, her parents sold the Church and moved to Florida, giving her the ample opportunity to chase her dreams.

Nala started training as a dental hygiene assistant in 2016, she also stopped attending church services in the same year. After she posted pictures of herself in lingerie on Instagram, someone suggested that she start an Onlyfans page and Nala obliged which kicked off her career as an adult content creator.

At the end of 2019, Nala raked in $85,000, which made her quit her job as a dental assistant, and took adult content creation full-time. A year later, she had become successful in the like and bought her first mansion in LA where she lives with her assistant, Shane.

Nala Ray now works full time in the adult entertainment world, and just last year, she revealed that she made her first million in just six months and that she now rakes in around $330,000 per month from her new job in the adult entertainment industry.
