  • How much does college determine your future job(s)?

Honestly, college has very little to do with determining your future job. The majority of what you learn in college is completely irrelevant to most jobs. Employers are far more interested in your work experience and whether or not you have the skill set required for the job than they are in your GPA or what classes you took. That being said, there are some jobs where having a degree from a certain school can make a difference (for example, if you want to be a doctor or lawyer), but for the most part, college is not nearly as important as people make it out to be.
